
Meet Dr. Kacmarski
Jason Kacmarski, Ph.D., ABPP-CN
Dr. Jason Kacmarski is the founder and owner of Archway Neuropsychological Services. He is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist based in Denver, Colorado, providing comprehensive neuropsychological assessment services to adults and older adults along Colorado’s Front Range.
Dr. Kacmarski completed his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado, followed by two years of postdoctoral training at the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System focused on the assessment and treatment of acquired brain injuries, including stroke and traumatic brain injury (TBI). After completing his postdoctoral training, he accepted a position on the Brain Rehabilitation Team at Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, where he spent four years working with Veterans with a history of brain injury. He subsequently transitioned into the role of Neuropsychology Clinic Coordinator, gaining extensive experience with a broad array of neurocognitive concerns, including, but not limited to, the differential diagnosis of various dementias and neurodegenerative disorders, as well as pre-surgical evaluations for patients considering deep brain stimulation (DBS) and neurosurgical procedures to treat epilepsy.
Dr. Kacmarski has also served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Northern Colorado, teaching Master’s-level counseling students about the process of psychological assessment, and as the Medical Director of Neuropsychology at Post Acute Medical Specialty Hospital of Denver, working with patients in a long-term acute care setting. In addition to his work at Archway Neuropsychological Services, he is currently an Instructor at the University of Colorado’s Anschutz campus, providing training to medical residents at Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, and is completing his second term as a Board Member for the Colorado Brain Injury Trust Fund Board.
Dr. Kacmarski takes a person-centered approach to care, working closely with the individuals he sees to help them better understand cognitive changes they are experiencing, develop strategies to optimize brain function, and support them in their journey towards optimal well-being.
